It feels so good to be back! We are here to preview LPW 42: Life, The Universe and Everything this Friday night! We have it all, as former brothers finally meet, an “I Quit” Match, Ladder Match and a Mystery Prize Battle Royale! I wish I knew what the prize was, because that anticipation alone is killing me! Everyone knows I hate surprises and no amount of money thus far has convinced LPW management to tell me. Let’s get after it and get you ready for LPW 42!
Nate Nixon vs Michael Richard Blais(c)

Challenge Championship I Quit Match
Call me crazy, but I don’t think you’re allowed to pin a guy in a multi man match and call yourself the Challenge champion, but don’t tell Nasty Nate I said that. That’s how one half of the Mad Lads is operating in his Challenge Championship Match vs Michael Richard Blais. This might be the recipe for success as most challengers to MRB’s throne come in as just that, the challenger, and it’s been nothing but Ls for them. Coming in as the “Champion,” or at least telling yourself and the world that you are, could be what is needed to defeat God’s Gift to Wrestling. I mean, if you tell yourself something enough you’ll start to believe it. Maybe that’s the only way to defeat MRB is manifestation – do you think Nate has a vision board?
I know what he does have, and that’s the backup plan of Elevation to come out and help ensure that more gold ends up in the hottest new faction in LPW. Could we be seeing the end to one of the greatest runs in Challenge Championship history? I don’t know, as I’ve never been good at science, but I will say this has to be the toughest challenger/champion MRB has faced in a while.
Zoe Sager(c) vs Steven Crowe(c)

ZPW Grand Champion vs LPW Grand Champion Ladder Match
You can understand why Zoe Sager has a gripe with LPW management. The fact is, she didn’t lose her LPW Grand Championship; it had to be relinquished due to injury. While she was away, Steven Crowe did win that belt that Sager was never pinned for. Those are the facts. The up for debate part is that she is owed something by LPW and that The Rhinestone Cowboy isn’t the Grand Champion; that’s how Sager has spun it thus far since her return, taking it as far as to create her own ZPW Championship, downplaying Crowe’s reign as champion and interfering in any match Crowe has just to remind him of her presence.
For Steven Crowe, this is about more than just shutting up Zoe Sager, although I’m sure that’s a big part of it. No one likes carrying a promotion on their back for someone to just step back in and drag everything you’ve accomplished through the mud. It’s also about leaving zero doubt with the roster, fans and management that he is the present and future of LPW and there’s only room for one Grand Championship in Love Pro Wrestling. Some have said this ladder match is “do or die,” and for both competitors it really is. Will all the hard work Crowe has put in while Zoe was out be put to death one ladder rung at a time? Or will the hostile takeover of the main event scene by Sager become a footnote at the hands of The Rhinestone Cowboy?
This match has a chance to go down as the match of the year and you won’t want to miss out. My last question is, what will the winner do with the title they have grown to hate? Maybe they will consider themselves double champs, officially or unofficially. That would be up to LPW management.
Para Lira(c) vs Cruz & Waltz

LPW Tag Team Championship
Now this is a Para Lira team I like. They are just business. We have gone from Para Lira asking LPW to give them tougher competition to them walking out and calling their own shots. That’s what happened last month as Berat Gorani was impressed by Cruz & Waltz and gave the young upstart tag team a title shot. In 2024 I might have said that’s a cocky move on Para Lira’s part, but given their track record it’s a confident move that might be underplayed considering this card overall. If Berat & Sheik are calling their shots now the roster might want to take notice.
Para Lira have been on a roll as Tag Team Champions. They continue to be the most consistent team, possibly in LPW history, but without question in 2025.
Rich King vs Larry Woods

Larry Woods gets his opportunity to get his hands on his former brother Rich King. Woods has been after King since Rich turned his back on his fellow RADz and aligned himself with Thaddeus Archer the Third. Larry gets this opportunity after he beat Dean Rictor last month and Jack Pride beat Rich King so it’s finally going to come to a head here at LPW 42. I love me some Larry Woods, but can he contain his emotions in a fight when his competitor seemingly has none? Plus Rich has surrounded himself with – I can’t believe I’m saying this – one of the smartest managers in the game in Thad and a mean SOB in Rictor. Larry was able to sway Jack Pride to the good side last month, but was that only in the moment and Pride falls back in line this month with the Vision of Archer. One will never know, as Pride is the definition of Wildcard. If you are looking for drama and intrigue, this is the match for you.
Dean Richtor vs Jaxx Wylder

I’m sure Jaxx Wylder is a wonderful human being. We know he’s a darn good wrestler in his short run here in LPW. That all said, Rictor is in a mood after last month and will be looking to make a massive statement and restore order in LPW. I’m not sure what the shortest match in LPW history is, but this might be close to that. Thad will be looking to make quick work of Wylder so his client can focus his energy on destroying Larry Woods later in the night. So consider this a warmup for Dean Rictor.
Mystery Prize Battle Royal

Who doesn’t love a good old battle royal? While all the competitors haven’t yet been announced for this match, we do have a few names already staking their claim to the Mystery Prize. I have no idea what it is but my intrigue is incredibly high! Those names include: TY Jackson, “White Shirt” William Taylor, Marz The Specialist, “The Thickness” Reid Matthews and Kaia Mckenna.
There you have it, friends. Another loaded card and this one will shape the future of LPW, so it’s can’t miss. Tune in live on IWTV at 7 p.m. MT to catch all the action. As always, keep it locked here for your latest content from your favorite Love Wrestling creators, and we will see you next month at LPW 43!
