For over 20 years, “All Ego” Ethan Page has been a staple of the Canadian pro wrestling scene, travelling from coast-to-coast both as an independent star and through his stints with IMPACT Wrestling and AEW. Though Page is now signed with WWE, the former NXT Champion still has a firm grasp on the current state of the Canadian independents, including with his own promotion, Alpha-1 Wrestling. Pluggo spoke with “All Ego” Ethan Page about who from the world of independent wrestling he’d like to see in WWE:
“Oh yeah, one of them had a tryout this weekend. An Alpha-1 wrestler by the name of Kody Lane. Goes by Koko; I hope he did very well. I’m very excited to hear whether they have any interest in him at all. He’s a guy right now who’s killing it in Canada for Alpha-1 Wrestling. Kody Lane is a fantastic wrestler; check him out”
Alpha-1 Wrestling is a Canadian-based wrestling company out of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. It was founded in 2010 by Ethan Page himself. “Koko” Kody Lane held the A1 Alpha-1 Male Championship for 119 days from November 2, 2025, to March 1, 2026.
