EDMONTON, AB: Live pro wrestling returns to Rogers Place on Sunday, January 25th!
Love Pro Wrestling and the Edmonton Oil Kings have announced the third edition of The Oil Rumble, featuring live professional wrestling matches both pre-game and during the intermissions.
“The Edmonton Oil Kings take tremendous pride in being Edmonton’s number one destination for family fun,” stated Kevin Radomski, the Director of Business Operations for the Edmonton Oil Kings Hockey Club. “In addition to three thrilling periods of junior hockey, we’re proud to once again partner with LPW with the return of the Oil Rumble. Slapshots on the ice and clotheslines in the ring – it’s entertainment taken to the next level. Make sure you don’t miss this game…. Brother!”

Last year’s Oil Rumble II saw over 7,000 fans in attendance, as the Oil Kings defeated the Moose Jaw Warriors by a score of 5-1. Additionally, the action inside the ring saw Marz the Specialist become the first-ever Oil Kings Cup Champion, Para Lira becoming the number one contenders to the LPW Tag Team Championships, and Zoë Sager defeat Taryn From Accounting.
This year’s edition of The Oil Rumble will feature the LPW returns of The Vörös Twins for the first time in over a year. The viral sensations will be making their first appearances in Edmonton since LPW x WEM: West Edmonton Brawl. Love Pro Wrestling staples Michael Richard Blais, Zoë Sager, ROSE, and current Oil Kings Cup Champion, Marz the Specialist, are also expected to appear.

About the Edmonton Oil Kings
The Edmonton Oil Kings are a major junior hockey team based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. They are one of 23 member teams of the Western Hockey League (WHL) and, subsequently, one of 61 teams that comprise the Canadian Hockey League (CHL). Since 2007-08, the Oil Kings have seen 27 players selected at the NHL Draft; 12 of those players chosen in the first two rounds. As of the 2024-25 campaign, they have graduated 20 players who have gone on to play in the National Hockey League.
